Do you stress daily? Do you feel tired daily? The two may have something in common. One of our biggest energy zappers is stress. Stress can affect the whole of you, leaving you both physically and mentally exhausted, even if you have spent the day on the couch! Our stress response is a natural part of life, and we need the sympathetic nervous system to drive us forward throughout the day. The problem occurs at times of chronic, prolonged stress – when the body does not get the opportunity to rest and restore itself. Therefore it’s important to get some form of relaxation into your daily schedule – as a non-negotiable!
