Bring your travel destination home before you leave  

You might be reading the title and going ‘huh’? But this is actually a great tip for beating the dreaded jetlag. By gradually putting yourself in the time zone of your destination, ideally a few days before you leave, you will begin to acclimatise whilst still in the comfort of your own bed. If flying west gradually delay your bedtime, and if flying east gradually advance your bedtime. Once arriving at your destination, gather your determination to stay awake until the early local bedtime. If this is a struggle take a walk in the fresh air and daylight.!
